Christmas Day

On Christmas Day 2007 Pastor Steve Sheppard of the Waters Edge and Rob Fish from Roots to Roots successfully co-ordinated a Christmas party for the Homeless. The Chapel in the Valley Baptist Church supplied the Christmas dinner for the 16 precious people that had made their way from the highway's and the byeways.

The Christmas day festivities included the giving of presents to the homeless and the watching of several comedy films as the bibles says that 'Laughter is as good as medicine.'  The Waters Edge supplied the evening meal and 7 of the homeless plus Rob and Pastor Steve slept in the church sanctuary.
